Heidi Regan and Stuart Laws are team captains in comedy podcast

Comic Nathan D’Arcy Roberts has launched a new podcast panel show, all about films.

Fellow stand-ups Heidi Regan and Stuart Laws will be the team captains in There Will Be Film, and over the 12 episodes are joined by comics including Sunil Patel, Bobby Mair, Sikisa, Harriet Kemsley. Ken Cheng  and Ania Magliano

D’Arcy Roberts said: ‘This show combines my twin loves of cinema and being as dumb as humanly possible. When it came to choosing who should join me the only candidates equally as in love with films and as dumb as me were Heidi Regan and Stuart Laws.’

Producers say the show  is ‘anarchic, fast-paced and regularly on a surprising tangent, no matter how hard Nathan tries to keep everyone on track.’

The series is being recorded at indie comedy venues in London, including The Bill Murray, Top Secret and The Albany as well as in the studios of Plosive Productions.

It launches today on Apple Podcasts and elsewhere, with Sarah Keyworth and Helen Bauer the guests in episode one.
