Mark Watson and Daniel Sloss are heading out to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival next year.

The Brits – both stalwarts of the event – are among the first show on sale for the festival, which runs from March 29 to April 23.

Also on sale now are New Zealand’s Urzila Carlson, and Aussies Luke Heggie, Kitty Flanagan and Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Sam Campbell,

The festival has also announced the line-up for its Comedy Zone showcase of up-and-coming Australian talent.

They are Sydney’s Annie Boyle & AJ Lamarque, Brisbane’s Ben Hunter, Bryan Bay’s Alexandra Hudson and Melbourne’s own Samuel Gebreselassie.
