Brighton Comedy Garden announces 2022 line-up
Brighton's Comedy Garden is to return this summer with headliners Simon Amstell, Stewart Lee, Adam Buxton, Dylan Moran, Sara Pascoe and Phil Wang.
Also appearing at the event in Preston Park from July 6 to 10 are David O’Doherty, John Robins, Josie Long, Jamali Maddix, Suzi Ruffell, Tim Key, Ed Byrne, Rosie Jones and some up-and-coming acts.
Following last year’s socially-distanced event, this year’s Comedy Garden will welcome the return of walk-up bars and street-food stalls. The shows will take place outdoors with audiences seated in a theatre-style arena.
The sibling team behind the Comedy Garden, Cass Randolph and Will Briggs, said in a statement: ‘We’re over the moon with this year’s line-up and can’t wait to bring the festival to Brighton with our proper set up.
‘Last year we had to switch to a socially-distanced event as the Government’s Roadmap was delayed, so to be coming back this summer with this truly incredible line up, theatre-style seating plus the bars, food stalls and all the embellishments that make it a true festival experience, is going to be absolutely fantastic.’.
