First shows announced for Moontower Just for Laughs festival in Texas

The first shows have been announced for the first Moontower Just for Laughs Austin festival.

The event in Texas, which runs from April 13 to 24, marks a return to the US market for Montreal-based Just For Laughs.

Names announced today include Dan Soder of Sky Atlantic series Billions, Nicole Byer (pictured)  of Netflix’s  Nailed It!;. Deon Cole from Black-ish, Michelle Buteau, of Netflix series The Circle, and WTF podcaster Marc Maron.

Other comics taking part include Nikki Glaser,  Mark Normand, Natasha Leggero, Moshe Kasher, Rachel Feinstein, Andy Kindler, Big Jay Oakerson Catherine Cohen and Jessica Kirson.

Additional performers and events are expected to be added  in the coming months.

The Moontower Comedy Festival has been running for ten years, but is being supersized by its new tie-in with Just For Laughs.
