Montreal festival announces its first show of 2022

Montreal’s Just For Laughs festival has unveiled its first live gig for 2022: Bill Burr.

The booking heralds a return to live performance for the festival after two coronavirus-hit years.

Just For Laughs – which stands with Edinburgh and Melbourne as one of the biggest celebrations of comedy – was this year reduced to a handful of live events, which much of its programming online.

Bill Burr will be performing his (Slight Return) tour at Montreal’s Bell Centre on July 30, 2022 – the penultimate day of next year’s festival, which kicks off on July 12. 

Tickets for his show go on sale on Wednesday October 23.
