Daliso Chaponda to judge comic fiction prize
Comedian joins Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse panel
Daliso Chaponda has joined the judging panel for the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for Comic Fiction.
He will help decided the winner of the 2021 prize along with fellow comedians Pippa Evans and Sindhu Vee plus publisher David Campbell, Justin Albert of the Hay Festival and broadcaster James Naughtie.
The accolade will honour the funniest full-length novels published between June 1, 2020, and May 31, 2021. The winner receives champagne, a collection of Wodehouse books – and a pig named after their novel.
Previous winners have included Helen Fielding, Alexander McCall Smith, Terry Pratchett and Nina Stibbe.
