Kurt Braunohler develops birth centre comedy
New sitcom Pushing in development at NBC
Comedian Kurt Braunohler is developing a US sitcom set in a birth centre.
He is writing the show, entitled Pushing, with actress Lauren Cook, whose credits include The Mindy Project and Fresh Off The Boat.
The workplace comedy is set in an all-female clinic, where one male doula – or support worker – joins the team.
Pushing is being developed for the NBC network, Hollywood website Deadline revealed.
