Showcase gig for blind comics

More than a dozen visually impaired comedians are joining up to stage a gig next month. 

Georgie Morell, picture, will compere the gig – Eye Say, Eye Say, Eye Say! – which will be live-streamed as part of London’s Bloomsbury Festival.

Those on the bill are: Michael Henriques, Annette Davies, Stephen Portlock, Maverick, Sam Brewer,  Chris Campion , Amy Bethan Evans, Michelle Felix, Naqi Rizvi, Steven Reed,  Terry James, Kirin Saeed, Mark Norman.

Maria Oshodi, artistic director of producers Extant said: ‘We’ll be giving the often unheard voices of visually impaired people a space for some surreal and stinging humour.’  

The show takes place at 6pm on October 17, and tickets, priced £5, are available here.
