When is Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Run coming to Sky

Broadcaster announces air date

Phoebe Waller-Bridge's new comedy Run  is coming to Sky Comedy on April 15, the broadcaster has announced.

The show, written and produced by her Fleabag collaborator Vicky Jones, is about ex-lovers who made a pact 15 years ago that if they ever needed to escape life, they could send each other a simple text message – ‘RUN’ – and impulsively disappear together.

Merritt Wever plays a woman called Ruby, who is living a humdrum existence until she receives that text, while Domhnall Gleeson stars as Billy Johnson, a successful life guru from a wealthy Irish family.

The eight half-hour episodes will air in the UK three days after their US premiere on HBO.

Waller-Bridge plasys Laurel, a woman who Ruby and Billy meet on their journey; while other regulars include Rich Sommer,  Tamara Podemski and Archie Panjabi.

Jones, who directed the stage version of Fleabag, and Waller-Bridge are among the executive produceers on the new show, which will also be availabe on Now TV.
