More international names join Melbourne festival

Rich Hall, Josie Long and John Kearns

Rich Hall, Josie Long and John Kearns have joined the line-up for the 2020 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Hall returns to the leading Australian festival with an alt-country band to deliver a new, ‘deluxe’ version of his Hoedown celebration.

Long will be performing her new show, Tender, about motherhood and kindness, while the multi-award-winning Kearns will be presenting his latest show, show Double Take and Fade Away (review).

These comics join an international line-up that also includes the previously announced Liza Treyger, Lou Sanders, Jessica Fostekew, David O'Doherty, Ed Night, Sarah Keyworth, Rosie Jones, Ivo Graham, Eleanor Tiernan, Mark Watson, James Veitch, Flo & Joan, Larry Dean, Darren Harriott and Iceland’s Ari Eldjárn.

The festival runs from March 25 to April 19. Website.
