Now in development for CBS

Jamie Lee Curtis is set to star in a new comedy set at a family-run funeral home.

Hollywood trade paper Variety reports that the actress will also be an executive producer on the show, being developed for the CBS network.

The sitcom is entitled Quality of Life, and Curtis will play the matriarch. She came up with the idea with former Will and Grace and Frasier producer Janis Hirsch, who is writing the script.

It was recently announced that Curtis  will reprise her role as Laurie Strode in the upcoming reboot of classic horror film Halloween.
