Fundraiser for victims of bomb attack

Russell Kane is to host the Manchester Arena reopening concert.

The comic said he was ‘thrilled and honoured’ to be hosting the We Are Manchester gig on September 9.

HE will be hosting acts including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Rick Astley, Clint Boon and Pixie Lott to a crowd of 13,500.

All profits will raise money for the Manchester Memorial Fund, a charitable trust that aims to establish a permanent memorial for the 22 victims of murderer Salman Ramadan Abedi at an Ariane Grande concert at the venue in May.

Tickets for the show sold out within minutes of going on sale earlier this month.
