Johnny Vegas opens an antique shop

For a new TV series

Johnny Vegas is opening an antique shop for a new TV series.

In the eight-part show, Little Shop Of Antiques, the comedian will open an emporium on the North West of England.

Viewers to the series – which will air on Discovery+’s Quest channel, will follow Vegas as he hunts and repairs antiques  in a bid to make enough profit to make the shop a permanent business.

In a video announcing the show, the comedian said: ’Finally after a lifetime of collecting the eclectic, the antique, bits of everything, I’m out buying, hopefully trading, and I think it’s going to be an exciting ride.’

His previous business venture, opening a glamping site using an array of vintage vehicles, was charted in a Channel 4 reality series.

Quest say his new show will feature ‘hilarious disasters, unusual finds and touching moments as he attempts to turn his ramshackle dream into a reality’.
