Prop goes missing from Dutch museum

The giant mobile phone Dom Joly used in  Trigger Happy TV has been stolen from an Amsterdam museum.

The comedian broke the news on social media yesterday, saying he was ‘gutted’ at its disappearance, just days after he sent it to the Netherlands.

He said it went missing on the second day the museum was open.: ‘Someone walked in, no alarms and just picked up the big mobile and left with it. It’s been nicked,’ he explained.

‘I’m flabbergasted because I kept hold of that thing for 25 years and the second day it goes somewhere it gets nicked. Apparently no big deal to the museum. Like they’re sorry. It’s just rubbish.’
