Alan Carr's looking for geniuses
New Channel 4 show with Susie Dent
Alan Carr is to front a new Channel 4 reality show seeking to uncover ‘the country’s most gifted and unsung minds’.
The comic will front Britain’s Secret Genius with Countdown lexicographer Susie Dent in a show that is being backed by high-IQ society Mensa.
Over the six-part series they will be seeking out super-intelligent people in ordinary places such as hairdressers, factories and supermarkets to take part in ‘immersive and ambitious challenges’ to test their brain power.
The broadcaster says viewers will also be encouraged to play along to find out if they too have what it takes to be a genius.
Channel 4 unveiled the show at an ‘Extravagander’ last night, announcing a raft of forthcoming new shows, including the return of sketch comedy with Mitchell and Webb.
