BIG BOYS: Jack Rooke's award-winning comedy-drama is back for the third and final series, as Jack (Dylan Llewellyn) Danny (Jon Pointing) and the Blue Shed gang contend with dissertations, adult decisions and dick pics in their final year at Brent University. Jack's quest to be less of a 'virgin-dweeb' continues, while his newfound love of performing spoken-word poetry polarises his pals. The full series dropped on Channel 4's on-demand player overnight ahead of the first two episodes airing tonight. And read what creator Rooke has to say about the show here. Channel 4, 10pm

FUNBOYS: This new comedy revolves around ‘emotionally-unassembled’ friends Callum (Ryan Dylan), Jordan (Rian Lennon) and Lorcan (Lee R James) trying to navigate young adulthood, 'from first girlfriends to dead pet pigs'. And tonight’s opener features a disastrous sexual escapade on a swan pedalo. The four-part series, set in small-town Northern Ireland, features Jamie Demetriou in a guest role. He said: ‘The Funboys pilot blew me away. Their dedication to making something genuinely funny and specific is deeply exciting and very rare.’ The show is being overseen by Simon Mayhew-Archer, the award-winning producer of This Country BBC One Northern Ireland and iPlayer, 11.10pm. Also on BBC Three at 9pm on Thursday.
AT HOME WITH Katherine Ryan: The comedian’s series mixing scenes from her home life with expert advice on what she SHOULD be doing returns. Now that Fenna is 18 months old and Fred three, the pressure to get back to work has won out, so Ryan is about to start a ten-month comedy tour. Family life is getting bumpier too with 15-year-old Violetfacing her looming GCSE’s but preferring to doom scroll and munch on takeaways. In episode one, husband Bobbyreluctantly agrees to see marriage coach Adeaze Chiwoko, but the tables are turned on Katherine when a series of problems are discovered with her behaviour. U&W, 9pm
RICHARD OSMAN’S HOUSE OF GAMES: It’s another Redemption week, with comedian Tiff Stevenson being given a second chance to prove her trivia credentials. She faces broadcasters Gethin Jones and Kate Thornton and actor Gary Wilmot BBC Two, 6pm
