Jack Whitehall to host the Brit Awards again

As Munya Chawawa presents a warm-up show

Jack Whitehall is to host the Brit Awards for a fifth time

The comic will front the ceremony on March 1 at The O2 arena in London, which will also be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX.

Whitehall, who previously hosted in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, said: ‘They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that is absolutely the case with the Brit Awards - it is my favourite night of the year, and I am delighted to be invited back to host in 2025.’

Record label executive Damian Christian, who is chair of this year’s Brit committee, added: ‘I'm excited that we've been able to bring Jack back to host for a fifth time. Jack is a true professional who makes one of the toughest gigs on TV look effortless.

'His cutting wit will keep everyone on their toes, while his charm and humour will make the audience at home feel closer to the awards.'

Meanwhile fellow comic Munya Chawawa will be co-presenting The Brits 2025: The Warm-Up with DJ Harriet Rose, which airs on ITV2 at 9pm on February 27.

Chawawa

Chawawa said: ‘The awards are always a highlight of the year, and I'm making it my sworn duty to bring you all the magic and mayhem of the night itself to our ITV2 show. First Stormzy’s performance in 2018, and now me; it’s clear The BRITs have a thing for 7ft, absolutely ripped British icons.’
