60 TV and radio shows in the running

Sixty finalists in this year’s comedy.co.uk awards have been announced today.

Smoggie Queens, Wallace & Gromit, Alma’s Not Normal, Inside No. 9 and Taskmaster are among the programmes from 2024 that have made it through the first of two voting rounds.

There are also less high-profile shows such as the Mike Wozniak-fronted Radio 4 imports pilot Wing It, BBC Wales’s animated comedy The Golden Cobra and BBC Scotland sketch show Stevens & McCarthy.

Every TV and radio show that aired new episodes is eligible – a total of 346 last year, down slightly from 351 in 2023.

The awards, now in their 19th year, are entirely publicly voted. Winners will be revealed next month.
