Sara Pascoe announces her biggest tour yet
Sara Pascoe has announced her biggest tour yet, entitled I Am A Strange Gloop.
The show charts her change from ‘self-exploration via sexual safari’ to being a middle-aged new mum who ‘must work out who she is while watching Peppa Pig, coated with squashed banana down her jumper and sweet potato in her hair’.
Pascoe said: ‘I have grown to depend on touring, not only because of my deep love of performing stand-up, but also to avoid the difficult bedtimes of my unruly children.’
I Am A Strange Gloop – Pascoe’s first tour since 2022 – begins on June 21 in the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich, and closes 47 shows later on March 29 2026 at the Norwich Theatre Royal. It includes a date at the London Palladium on March 1, 2026.
Pascoe has recently found a wider audience as host of BBC One’s The Great British Sewing Bee, while her other TV credits include Taskmaster, Live At The Apollo, QI and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She has also recently been announced as part of Prime Video’s Last One Laughing UK which will air in 2025.
She also co-hosts Sara & Cariad’s Weirdos Book Club with Cariad Lloyd and has written a novel, Weirdo, published last year, and two non-fiction books: Sex, Power, Money and Animal, which was developed into the BBC sitcom Out of Her Mind.
Tickets for the I Am A Strange Gloop tour go on sale at 10am on Friday
