'Absolutely impressive'
Chris McCausland again ended up in sixth place on the Strictly leaderboard last night - the same placing he’s now held for four weeks.
The comedian and dance partner Dianne Buswell scored 30 points for their also Down Under by Men at Work, a nod to Buswell’s homeland.
McCausland joked that the dance had ‘more bloody lifts than Canary Wharf’ and told out Claudia Winkelman: ‘I feel like I’ve fallen off a horse and been dragged for two miles.
They got six points from Craig Revel Horwood and eight from the other three judges,
Head judge Shirley Ballas said: ‘I can’t even imagine how you managed to do that so flawlessly when you can’t see. On top of that, you kept to your music, you didn’t miss a beat. I’m telling you from my heart, that is absolutely impressive.’
In a video posted from the rehearsals before the performance, the comic said: ‘I’ve had a cold. I’m falling apart, but I’m motoring on because I’m a soldier. But we’re getting through the dance with the song, all the way through, occasionally better than where it was yesterday.’
