Taskmaster's live experience opens £25 ticket lottery

Move follows complaints about the cost

Producers of the Taskmaster: The Live Experience have opened cup a ticket lottery offering a limited number of places at £25 per person.

The experience opened in London’s Docklands last week and is due to run until January 25.

When it was formally announced in June, many fans complained about the price of taking part. The sessions have dynamic pricing of between £50 and £100 per person, with the top price slammed as 'extortionate’, ’insane’, ‘completely inaccessible’ , ‘obscene’ and ‘absolutely shocking'.

Now producers Avalon have announced a fortnightly lottery for anyone who signs up to a mailing list. Every  second Wednesday at 2pm, winners will be drawn at random and contacted by email and have 48 hours to claim their tickets for the next two weeks.

It has not been revealed when the first draw will take place, nor how many tickets are available each fortnight.
