Comic to play London's O2 Arena next year

Paul Smith has announced his biggest ever show, with his Pablo tour playing London’s O2 Arena next year.

The comic – who rose to success by posting videos of his crowd work while compering Liverpool’s Hot Water comedy club – said: ‘The tour has been incredible so far – it’s been mind-blowing – and I’m now beyond delighted to announce my biggest ever UK show at London’s O2 Arena.

‘The crowds on this tour are brilliant, from theatres to arenas, and each night is incredibly special. To now be taking this to The O2 is a dream.’

Smith plays the 17,000-capacity venue on November 13, 2025 with tickets going on sale on Friday. He has already twice sold out the 12,500-capacity  OVO Arena Wembley this year.

Paul Blair, founder of Hot Water Comedy Club, said: ‘It’s been incredible to watch Paul’s journey from performing on our stage in Liverpool to selling out venues like The O2, especially just a week after selling more than 30,000 tickets for the Australia and New Zealand leg of the tour.

‘We’ve always believed in his talent, and seeing him connect with audiences on this scale is a proud moment for all of us at Hot Water. This tour is a testament to hard work and the unique bond Paul has built with his fans. We’re excited to be part of it and can’t wait to see what’s next.’

The club is co-promoting the show with producers Cuffe and Taylor, whose director Ben Hatton called Smith ‘one of the best loved comedy talents in the UK today ‘.
