Felicity Ward announces her first tour in five years

Plus new dates for Bill Bailey, Zainab Johnson, Henry Rowley and Jacob Hawley,

Felicity Ward has announced her first UK tour in five years.

The comedian – who has been cast in the David Brent role in the Australian version of The Office – will be performing her new stand-up show I'm Exhausting in 14 cities this autumn.

The dates, which kick off in Norwich on   October 3, follow a week-long run in London’s Soho Theatre in July. She has previously performed the show – which covers giving birth, Quorn, fingering and transition lenses –  in Australia (read our review from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival here).

Ward – who was nominated for the main Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2018 – has previously been seen on the likes of Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and her own Amazon Prime stand-up special as part of Soho Theatre Live.

• Tickets have gone on sale today for a West End run of Bill Bailey’s Thoughtifier show. The comic will be at the Theatre Royal Haymarket for  three weeks from  December 28. Tickets.


• American comedian Zainab Johnson – who has been named one of Variety’s Top 10 Comics to Watch – makes her UK debut this autumn. The stand-up – who has her Amazon Prime special, Hijabs Off, as well as starring int he platform’s comedy series Upload – will be at Soho Theatre for a week from November 18. Tickets are on sale now.


Social media star Henry Rowley will be touring this autumn with his debut live show, Just Literally, after launching it at the Edinburgh Fringe. Rowley – who has a million followers on TikTok – said: ‘So apparently spending all day filming myself and posting it on social media didn't quite fill that empty void in my soul so I've decided to try and get even more attention and piss my parents off even more by travelling the UK and Ireland performing my brand new show of character sketch comedy and stand-up.
