Paul Whitehouse reprises Granddad role
Paul Whitehouse is to reprise his role as Grandad in the touring version of Only Fools and Horses The Musical.
The comic played the part for much of the show’s four-year run in London’s West End, and said: ‘I’ve really missed him.’
The ten-month tour kicks off in Bromley on September 23 and then travels to more than 30 venues, before culminating in Dublin at the end of June 2025. Whitehouse will appear at about half the venues.
Further casting for roles including Del Boy, Rodney, Cassandra, Raquel, Boycie, Marlene, Trigger and Denzil, has yet to be announced.
Whitehouse wrote the show with Jim Sullivan, son of the sitcom’s creator John, and the stage version features 20 original songs.
Whitehouse added: ‘It’s an honour to take Only Fools on the road… We can't wait to see you. Mange Tout! Mange Tout!’
