DAVID MITCHELL'S OUTSIDERS: The comedy survival series returns for a third series with Alan Davies, Roisin Conaty, Guz Khan, Judi Love, Chris McCausland and Laura Smyth being set outdoorsy challenges by the host. Thursday October 12

C*A*U*G*H*T: This new ITVX comedy revolves around four Australian soldiers who are sent on a secret mission to the war-torn island nation of Behati-Prinsloo and captured by freedom fighters. The Australian authorities, who aren’t supposed to be in Behati-Prinsloo, cut the boys loose. Rather than go home to nothing, they produce a hostage video that goes viral. When the soldiers reach celebrity status, they realise that being caught might just be the best thing that could've happened to them… Read an interview about the show here.

Friday October 13

FRASIER: The reboot comes to Paramount+ with Kelsey Grammer reprising his title role and moving back to Boston to reconnect with his son Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott). Nicholas Lyndhurst also features as Frasier’s old college friend turned university professor Alan, with an early review describing him as 'deliciously dry'.

HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU Alexander Armstrong guests hosts for a record 40th time. He says: 'I can’t believe I’ve done 40 of these. You’d honestly have hoped I’d be better at it by now. I cross my fingers after every series that they’ll have me back. And I still seem to be getting away with it. Have I learnt any tips over the 40 shows on how to control Ian and Paul? Um, No.' BBC One, 9pm
