Monday August 7

TASKMASTER BLEEPED: The family-friendly version of series 14 of Taskmaster kicks off, with all the naughty words taken out. Dara Ó Briain, Fern Brady, John Kearns, Munya Chawawa and Sarah Millican take on Alex Horne's challenges in the hope of winning Greg Davies's gold bonce. Tuesday August 8

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING: Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez return for a third series of the comedy mystery show about two men who make a podcast about homicides in their apartment block because they are too lazy to go outside. Series 3 has a major twist - the killing takes place outside the building! More significantly, none other than Meryl Streep joins the cast, as does Paul Rudd. Disney+

ROM & ROMESH VS CLASSICAL MUSIC: The pair rehearse with the London Philharmonic Orchestra before performing with them at the last night of their year-long residency at the Royal Festival Hall. THE CASE AGAINST COSBY: Of the 63 women who have come forward to accuse Bill Cosby of sexual assault, only one has so far been able to gain a conviction (although nine more have since launched civil lawsuits). This film, on strateming service ITVX from today, is Andrea Constand's story, which also features contributions from Cosby’s prosecutors, journalists in the courtroom and others with stories to tell about the disgraced comedian.

NICK REVELL: BROKEN DREAM CATCHER: The comic is back for a third series of tall tales that combine comedy with magical realism. Radio 4, 11pm

ADAM HILLS: GROW ANOTHER FOOT: A one-off in which the one-footed comic has the chance to live out his dreamt o playing his favourite sport at international level in the first-ever Physical Disability Rugby League World Cup. But will he try to represent his native Australia or join his regular rugby family who make up the England team? This film is a follow-up to his first documentary, Take His Legs, which first aired in 2019 and followed Hills as he helped establish the sport of Physical Disability Rugby League with his team at Warrington Wolves.
