HANNAH GADSBY: SOMETHING SPECIAL: The Australian breaks with their reputation for comedy born from trauma to offer a feelgood set, talking largely about their wedding – from panicky proposal to novelty cake. We are assured that there's nothing more troubling in this show – filmed at the Sydney Opera House – than an encounter with a bunny. Out on Netflix today. Here's a trailer:

INSIDE NO 9: Mathew Horne, Frances Barber and Asim Chaudhry are among the guests stars in Love Is A Stranger, in which Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton explore the world of online dating. BBC Two, 10pm

Friday May 12

 THE CHRIS AND ROSIE RAMSEY SHOW: The couple return with a new series of the chat show that started life as a podcsst (Shagged, Married, Annoyed) and now elevated from BBC Two to BBC One. The guests in the first show will be fellow celebrity couple Joel Dommett and  Hannah Cooper, who have just announced that they are expecting their first child BBC One, 10.40pm

HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU: Diane Morgan makes her debut as guest host, with panellists comedian Desiree Burch and journalist Matt Chorley  joining team captains Paul Merton and Ian Hislop. BBC One, 9pm

THE LATEISH SHOW WITH Mo Gilligan: The comedian is joined by ex-England footballer Rio Ferdinand, musician Jessie Ware and comedian Jack Whitehall. And there's live music from N-Dubz.. Channel 4, 10pm

VICTORIA WOOD AS SEEN ON TV: Victoria Wood would have celebrated her 70th birthday next Friday, so to mark the occasion  Gold is airing this classic sketch show, co-starring Dame Julie Walters, and  including the exploits of Acom Antiques and advice from agony aunt Kitty, played by Patricia Routledge. Gold, 9.40 pm

THE NEWS QUIZ:  Andy Zaltzman is joined by Susie McCabe, Ian Smith and ITV News Editor Anushka Aktsana. BBC Radio 4, 6.30pm
