Two new books from Garth Marenghi
Garth Marenghi has written a second TerrorTome novel, to be released on Halloween.
Incarcerat will see Nick Steen – the alter ego of Matthew Holness’s alter ego – abducted and imprisoned at Nulltec, a shadowy technological research facility ‘with excellent conference parking’.
There he is observed, tested and 'interfered with (physically) by a team of scientific experts led by Dr Barbara Nullman and other potentially fully-rounded characters determined to probe and "nullify" his escaping imagination.’
Publishers Hodder & Stoughton have also bought the rights to a third book, to be released at a later date.
We bring great news: Garth Marenghi - Frighternerman, Darkscribe, Doomsage - is back with volume two of his TerrorTome . . .

The acquisitions follows Garth Marenghi's TerrorTome, which was published last November, and revolved around the products of Steen’s tortured imagination becoming real and terrifying his hometown of Stalkford. Holness’s creation has been touring the UK with readings and Q&A sessions ever since publication.
Harriet Poland, editorial director at the Coronet imprint, told trade website The Bookseller: ‘Not many people get to work with a true maestro of the dark creative arts. With Incarcerat, we hope to take the triumph of TerrorTome to new, unimagined heights.’
TerrorTome was the first real book Holness wrote as Marenghi, He created the character with Richard Ayoade and – alongside cast member Alice Lowe – won the 2001 Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe. The trio were then joined by Matt Berry to produce the cult 2004 Channel 4 sitcom Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.
Signed copies of Incarcerat are available from Waterstones now.
