Tony Robinson teases new Blackadder project
Another Blackadder project could be heading towards TV screens.
Sir Tony Robinson, who just revived Balrdrick to record a bedtime story for Comic Relief, has teased a new project linked to the timeless sitcom.
But he is remaining tight-lipped about exactly what it is.
‘There is something new coming at some point in the next few months but I’m sworn to secrecy about what it is,’ he told the Daily Mail, enigmatically.
‘All I can say is that it will be on TV and it’s something associated with Blackadder that viewers won’t have seen before.’
He said that the reaction to BBC One’s Comic Relief story, penned by Blackadder writer Richard Curtis, bolstered his hopes for the new mystery project.
‘I was swamped with love after that,’ he said. ‘So I’m feeling very positivie about the future.’
