Stath Lets Flats is back for Comic Relief
Jamie Demetriou is returning to Stath Lets Flats for a Comic Relief sketch.
Dermot O’Leary is to make a guest appearance in the skit, one of several in which he visits small businesses to see what they are doing to raise money for Comic Relief.
First up are the staff of Michael & Eagle lettings whose only idea is to take the presenter on a sponsored tour of a rented flat.
Stath then showcases a new song he has written for Comic Relief – titled 'Comic Release' – which co-stars his sister Sophie (Natasia Demetriou), Katia (Ellie White) and Al (Al Roberts) plus some guest artists who have not been named.
In character, Stath Charalambos said: ‘I couldn’t feel more pleasant to have met Dernot O’Really in 2023 for Comic Release. His clothes fit on his body perfectly. Thank you X Factor.’
The third series Stath Lets Flats aired on Channel 4 in autumn 2021 and Demetriou subsequently said there were no plans for a fourth season, but did not rule it out completely.
Earlier this month Netflix released his special A Whole Lifetime with Jamie Demetriou, and he also has roles in Apple TV+’s The Afterparty, Disney’s new Pinocchio movie and the forthcoming Barbie film, among others.
The new sketch will air as part of the Comic Relief Night of TV on BBC One from 7pm on Friday.
