Laura Lexx is hosting a new stand-up showcase series for Radio 4.

The Stand-Up Section will feature acts who have not previously been heard on the station.

However, that does not mean a focus only on new comedians, as the line-up includes circuit veterans who have previously been overlooked, such as Jeff Innocent.

Also taking part in series one are Harriet Dyer, Aaron Simmonds, Ola Labib,   Preet Singh and Wilson The Comedian.

The show will be recorded  at Up The Creek comedy club in Greenwich, South London, next Tuesday. Free audience tickets are available from Standing Room Only.
