...for a fan convention

The cast of ITV comedy Benidorm are to reunite for a fan convention.

Series creator Derren Litten will host the three-day event at the Costa Blanca resort where the series was set next month.

Those attending include Sheila Reid who played Madge Harvey, Sherrie Hewson (Joyce Temple-Savage), Jake Canuso  (Mateo Castellanos) and Steve Pemberton (Mick Garvey)

The Benicon event also features an exhibition of costumes, sets and mementos from the programme, karaoke in Neptune’s Bar – actually Morgan Tavern – and a gala night at the Benidorm Palace, to be hosted by Litten.

Other stars attending are Crissy Rock (Janey Yorke), Siobhan Finneran (Janice Garvey), Hannah Hobley (Chantelle Garvey),  Oliver Stokes (Michael Garvey) and singer Asa Elliott.

Set in the Solana hotel, Benidorm ran for ten series from 2007 until May 2018. A spin-off stage show featuring many of the cast played 250 UK dates in 2018 and 2019.

Weekend passes for the event, which runs from November 18 to 20 are priced £95 and available here.
