Queen's funeral: comedy gigs cancelled

Especially in Central London

Many live comedy shows have been cancelled because of the Queen’s funeral on Monday.

Central London gigs are most likely to be affected, in part because of the vast crowds descending on the capital.

  • The Soho Theatre will be closed, cancelling shows by Frankie Boyle, Jordan Gray (pictured), Sarah Keyworth and Kim Noble.
  • Richard Herring’s recording of his Leicester Square Theatre podcast, which would have featured Troy Hawke, has been cancelled.
  • Doug Stanhope’s London date at the O2 Forum has been moved from Monday to Tuesday.
  • Manchester’s Frog And Bucket has cancelled its Beat The Frog new act night.
