Fights mar Kevin Bridges' Glasgow dates
Kevin Bridges’ Glasgow gigs have been marred by punch-ups twice in as many nights.
Punters were thrown out of his shows at the Ovo Hydro for fighting on both Thursday and Friday nights, it has been reported.
The comic joked that he ‘felt like Joe Rogan’ – the comic turned fight commentator – after the latest brawl briefly interrupted his set.
After security guards ejected one man, a fan wrote on Twitter: ‘It aint Glasgow without some dafty starting a scrap at Kevin Bridges shame he didn't get his phone out in proper Glasgow manner n record it.’
And of Thursday night’s interruption, one punter posted on social meida: ‘Fav part of the night was when Kevin Bridges called out the two fannies that started a fight during his bit about mental health’
The venue confirmed to local press that the punter ‘was removed as soon as our team became aware of the situation, as is standard practice’.
Bridges is performing mammoth 16-night hometown run of his Overdue Catch-Up tour at the Hydro, before heading off around the UK.
