Seven Fringe shows shortlisted for Amused Moose award

The shortlist has been announced for this year’s Amused Moose Comedy Awards for unrepresented acts at the Edinburgh Fringe.

They are:

• Adam Flood: Clayhead (Just The Tonic @ The Mash House)
• Chelsea Birkby: No More Mr Nice Chelsea (Just The Tonic @ The Caves)
• Christian Brighty: Playboy (Pleasance Courtyard)
• Grubby Little Mitts (Assembly George Square)
• Phil Green: 90s Boy - Blair, The Lovegun And Me (PBH's Free Fringe@ Banshee Labyrinth)
• Richard David-Caine: Tall Dark And Anxious (Underbelly Cowgate)
• Will Mars: My Life in One-Liners (Gilded Balloon Patter Hoose)

There is no prize beyond a trophy - and the kudos – but there are plans to stage some of the nominated shows at London’s Soho Theatre in the autumn.

The list was decided by a panel drawn from the comedy industry, including critics, promoters and producers.
