Underbelly announces 47 new Fringe shows
Underbelly has today unveiled a further 47 shows joining this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe line-up.
Comedy shows include Irish hip-hop musical comedian Abandoman, Australian comic and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under judge Rhys Nicholson and former best newcomer nominee Bilal Zafar.
Also joining the comedy line-up is Ireland’s Deirdre O’ Kane, fresh from fronting Sky's stand-up series, Paul Foot returning with Swan Power.. and Australia’s Ange Lavoipierre with her show I've Got 99 Problems And Here's An Exhaustive List Of Them.
Meanwhile, Jason Byrne is unveiling a new one-man play about his father, The Paddy Lama-Shed Talks. The comic set up a shrine to his dad in his garden shed following his death in February 2020.
Other comedy shows announced today are Aidan Greene, Dan Cook, Garry Starr, Hannah George, Catie Wilkins and Taylor Glenn with their podcast Drunk Women Solving Crime, and the venue’s fourth Big Brain Tumour Benefit.
Returning cabaret shows include La Clique, The Tiger Lillies and The Thinking Drinkers.

The Edinburgh Fringe runs from August 3 to 29, with Underbelly running four sites: George Square, Circus Hub on the Meadows, Cowgate and Bristo Square.
