His first in four years

Chris Rock has announced his first UK dates in more than four years.

The comic will be bringing his Ego Death World Tour 2022 to Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and at London’s Royal Albert Hall in May.

It comes after he recently wrapped production on the   a biopic of  gay, civil rights activist Bayard Rustin – in which he plays fellow campaigner Roy Wilkins – and David O’Russell’s untitled film.

He last performed stand-up in the UK in early 2018 with his show Total Blackout (review) which is now streaming on Netflix.

Tickets for the UK leg of his tour go on sale at 10am on Friday .
