Edinburgh hit The Twist...? She's Gorgeous streaming soon

Catherine Cohen’s award-winning live show The Twist...? She's Gorgeous is to air as a Netflix special.

The New York-based comic won the best newcomer accolade at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe for the show, in which she performed as an insecure, narcissistic version of herself.

Now a version filmed at Joe's Pub in New York City will premiere globally on the streaming platform on March 15.

According to the official blurb, ‘ Catherine uses her musical expertise to hilariously divulge details about relationships, modern feminism and being the main character of her own life.’

Cohen  hosts a weekly cabaret show at Alan Cumming's East Village venue, Club Cumming, appeared in the 2021 film Dating And New York as well as TV shows including What We Do in the Shadows and Awkwafina is Nora from Queens and has written a volume of comedic poetry entitled  God I Feel Modern Tonight.

She returns to the UK on Monday for a week of work-in-progress  shows at the Soho Theatre in London, which are already sold out.
