Comedian in a celebrity special

Suzi Ruffell is taking part in the new series of Eating With My Ex.

The new series returns to BBC Three on February 1 – the first night the youth channel returns to terrestrial broadcast – with a run of six celebrity specials.

Many of those taking part are couples from other reality shows such as Chloe Veitch and Kori Sampson from Too Hot To Handle, Maeva D’Ascanio and Miles Nazaire from Made in Chelsea and Chloe Brockett and Harry Lee from The Only Way Is Essex.

However comic Ruffell will also be reuniting with a former partner over a meal, where they will be asked ‘probing, personal questions, as they reckon with the ends of their relationships, where it all went wrong and whether they have a future together’.

The BBC’s commissioning editor, Kalpna Patel-Knight, said the series promises to ‘serve up a smörgåsbord of dramatic disclosures and entertaining entrées like no other show’.

Others taking part in the celebrity episodes include Amy Tapper from Gogglebox, Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer, Tia Kofi from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Ibiza Weekender’s Callum Izzard.

Alongside the celebrity specials, there will also be four episodes featuring members of the public

Fellow comedian London Hughes previously appeared on a regular episode of Eating With My Ex.
