International showdown on BBC Three next month

Daisy May Cooper has joined the judging panel for  RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Versus The World.

The This Country and Never Mind The Buzzcocks star has today been named as one of the guest judges on the show alongside the main panel of Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton.

She said: ‘I can’t wait to bring some Daisy May Cooper couture to the runway. I love the show… I love it all!’

The show features nine drag queens from across the Drag Race shows worldwide competing for the global title. It was yesterday confirmed that the show would be part of the opening night line-up when BBC Three becomes a broadcast channel again on February 1 after more than six years online only.

Other guest judges are Radio 1 presenter Clara Amfo, Bridgerton’s  Jonathan Bailey, Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall, Spice Girl Melanie C and a Michelle Keegan

Strictly finalist and champion dancer Johannes Radebe will also be making an appearance, lending a hand with the queens for their choreography for one of the challenges. And celebrity drink-driver Katie Price will be joining Michelle Visage to play the Snatch Game.
