Bill Bailey reschedules tour
Bill Bailey has rescheduled all his post-Christmas tour dates because of the soaring number of coronavirus cases.
The comic had been due to play arena dates around the UK from December 29 to January 15 as part of his En Route to Normal tour but these have now been shifted to April and May.
However, tonight’s show in Manchester, and tomorrow’s show in Nottingham, remain unaffected and will go ahead as planned.
The Scottish and Welsh dates would have to have been cancelled in any case because of new rules being introduced by the devolved government. Nicola Sturgeon has banned concerts for more than 200 people north of the border for three weeks from Boxing Day and in Wales indoor events have been capped at just 30 people.
Ticket holders will be contacted regarding the new arrangements.
The Cardiff date – January 12 – has yet to be rescheduled.
