Greg Jenner’s comedy history show You’re Dead To Me has been named the second most downloaded podcast on BBC Sounds this year.
The author and broadcaster, who is the ‘chief nerd’ consultant on CBBC’s Horrible Histories, describes the show as ‘the history podcast for people who don't like history... and those who do’.
The episode about Ivan The Terrible was its most popular.
You’re Dead To Me came second only to Newscast – which benefits from being released daily - in the most popular podcasts of 2021.

Between January and November, BBC Sounds podcasts and on-demand radio programmes were played 558 million timers.
The Corporation reports podcast listening rose almost 25 per cent compared to the same period last year.
