BBC raises a Toast on iPlayer
The first three series of Toast Of London have been released on the BBC’s iPlayer.
Matt Berry’s comedy originally aired on Channel 4 between 2012 and 2015. But all 18 episodes have now been added to the BBC’s catch-up service as the new series, Toast Of Tinseltown, was picked up by the Corporation.
The new six-part series will air from 10pm on January 4 on BBC Two and guest stars include Portlandia’s Fred Armisen as Russ Nightlife; Kayvan Novak as Des Wigwam (below); Susan Wokoma as Nina Armenian and Rashida Jones as Billie.
Harry Peacock also reprises his role as Ray Purchase, while Robert Bathurst is back as Toast's landlord Ed Howzer-Black and Tim Downie as sound engineer Danny Bear.
Berry co-wrote the show with Father Ted’s Arthur Mathews, and the show is made by Objective Fiction.
Watch the original three series – which were previously available on All4 - on iPlayer.
