Comedy legend to interview fellow stars

Barry Cryer is launching his own podcast, at the age of 86.

In the new series, the comedy legend will be talking to some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Stephen Fry, Miriam Margolyes, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Gyles Brandreth.

It will be released on all the main platforms via the Acast network in Christmas week.

The news has been released as the company have announced details of several festive specials of its most popular shows. They include:

• Adam Buxton be releasing his annual Christmas Day episode of his Rambles podcast with his old double-act partner Joe Cornish
• Ed Gamble and James Acaster putting out festive episodes of Off Menu on December 15 and 22
• My Dad Wrote a Porno releasing a two-part Christmas special. The first, recorded in the legendary Abbey Road studios, was released yesterday. Episode 2 will be released later in December.
