Daniel Radcliffe gets to work more miracles
Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi’s comedy Miracle Workers is to return for a fourth series.
America’s TBS network announced the new season yesterday but gave no hint as to its setting. Previous series have been set in Heaven, the Dark Ages, and the Wild West.
Brett Weitz, the broadcaster’s general manager, said the show was his channel’s top-rated scripted comedy, telling Deadline: as: ‘When you have Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi, brilliantly funny, wickedly funny, it’s hard to pass that up.
‘There’s meaning to the anthology, so, we’re really excited to see what they’ve crafted for season four, and it’s been unbelievable being in business with them.’
Lolly Adefope was a main cast member in the first two series, and other stars have included Peter Serafinowicz, Margaret Cho, Tituss Burgess, Ron Funches and Fred Armisen.
The series – which airs on Sky Comedy in the UK – was created by humorist Simon Rich and executive produced by Saturday Night Live’s head honcho, Lorne Michaels.
