Van der Put, 41, grew up in  London and was inspired to become a magician after seeing Jerry Sadowitz  on TV. He put together his stage person in 2008, and spent several years on the UK circuit, including several Edinburgh runs and supporting Mumford and Sons on tour.

He  got is big US break in 2015, appearing on the 10th season of America's Got Talent on NBC, where he made the finals

His show at the Flamingo – where he is likened to ‘Larry David in a dragon suit performing jaw-dropping magic tricks’ runs from Thursday to Monday every week.
