Flo and Joan announce 2022 tour

60 dates for musical duo's new Sweet Release show

Flo & Joan have become the latest comedy act to announce a 2022 tour.

The musical siblings – real names Nicola and Rosie Dempsey – will play 60 dates next year running from February 2 to June 19, followed by a stint at the Edinburgh Fringe,

Their new show is entitled Sweet Release, and is promoted with an image that looks like it’s come straight of a 1970s LP cover.

Promoters Avalon say of the show: ‘The musically talented and hilarious sisters are set to climb out of their pits, armed with a piano and percussion section to bring you a brand-new show of their critically acclaimed songs and comedy, poking around all the classic topics of the day: over-thinking, alien lovers and fringes.’

The Chortle award-winning duo have appeared on TV shows including Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance and Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club – while their special Alive On Stage is available on  Amazon Prime.

Other comedians t have announced their tours this week include Dara O Briain, Catherine Bohart and Maisie Adam.

Tickets for Sweet Release go on sale at 10am on Friday.
