Star of Hulu series announces London date

Egyptian-American stand-up Ramy Youssef is to make his UK stand-up debut next month.

The comedian is best known for his self-titled TV series, as seen on Hulu and All4, which earned him a Golden Globe for his performance.

Now Youssef is to play a one-off gig at London’s intimate Bush Hall on Saturday October 9. Tickets, priced £18 are available here.

His TV series, which also earned an Emmy nomination, is about a first-generation Egyptian-American in New Jersey, torn between a Muslim community that thinks life is a moral test and a millennial generation that thinks life has no consequences.

Youssef was also nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award and a Writers Guild Award for his one-hour HBO stand-up special Ramy Youssef: Feelings.
