Holly Walsh joins the Museum Of Curiosity
Holly Walsh is to be the latest curator of Radio 4’s The Museum Of Curiosity, the BBC has announced.
The comic will join co-host John Lloyd when the show returns for its 16th series on Monday October 18.
She takes over from Alice Levine and follows in the footsteps of previous co-hosts such as Bill Bailey, Romesh Ranganathan and Sarah Millican.
She said: ‘I'm overjoyed to be the curator of The Museum Of Curiosity - mainly because 80 percent of my anecdotes during lockdown have come from "things I picked up from having Radio 4 on in the kitchen" - so it's nice to finally give back.’
QI creator Lloyd added: ‘Absolutely delighted that our new curator is the brilliant Holly Walsh. Not only is she one of the funniest comedians around, but her first name, Holly, is very nearly an anagram of my last name, Lloyd, and her last name, Walsh, is also uncannily close to mine, because it's Welsh. Clearly, the stars are aligned…'
Guests lined up for the new run include Daliso Chaponda, Evelyn Mok, Catherine Bohart, Rosie Jones and Griff Rhys Jones.
