Comic joins The Witcher prequel, along with Lenny Henry

Comics Dylan Moran and Lenny Henry have joined the  cast of Netflix’s new fantasy prequel  The Witcher: Blood Origin.

Henry plays a character called Balor while Moran is the wonderfully named Uthrok One-Nut in the six-part series, which is currently being filmed in the UK.

Hollywood website Deadline also reports that The Nest’s Mirren Mack and Nathaniel Curtis have joined the series, set in an  elven world 1,200 years before the streaming service’s hit The Witcher.

Laurence O’Fuarain, Sophia Brown  and Michelle Yeoh are the leads.

Series two of the main series is due to drop on December 17.
